With These Words…Extra

‘We can have peace and security only so long as we band together to preserve that most priceless possession, our inheritance of European blood, only so long as we guard ourselves against attack by foreign armies and dilution by foreign races’. Charles Lindbergh, sourced from Wikipedia…While the America First (Committee) was established as a non-intervention group against American entry in WWII, it was not beyond its members along with some celebratory persons to uses its influences to advance other issues not stated in its organizational core, much like today’s Make America Great Again sentiments that lie within its very narrow view of Americana, that at its core includes a lot of exclusion. Today the 45th President of the United States expressed in so many not so hidden words, that he plans to govern much like he campaigned, using the cult of personality and rule of American exceptionalism, a kinda ‘first nation’, or ‘first among nations’, if you well, mentality, that may be at odds with the rest of the world that is moving toward globalism, and full trading cooperation, a little like living alone and liking it. To those who heard him speak today, he painted a picture of crime, terrorism and unfair trade deals brought on by massive immigration that was once the true moral, intellectual, vigorous strength of the nation…not a weakness…so help us all…Oh, one more thought, remember Brexit, you read it here first, no good will ever come from it…no nation can go it alone in this the twenty-first century though many may try, as it feels so good excluding the rest of the world that are not like you, but is rooted in fruit dying on the vine…
