Elaborate in Detail

“I have to tell you, it’s an unbelievably complex subject,” President Donald Trump told a group of governors at the White House yesterday. “Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated.” Source, Ryan Lizza, The New Yorker…

But some knew… healthcare was ‘complex’ and ‘complicated’ what an acknowledgement not heard from this president or candidate before…

When I first heard the above what came to mind was, not true, President Obama said on numerous occasions that national healthcare would be difficult, I regret I cannot find the complete quote today, however, I was lead to believe that the national healthcare effort by a president goes back to Harry Truman, have since learned it goes back even further to Teddy Roosevelt, progressivism, a group of healthcare reformers, a movement started in Europe, supported him in the U.S. for president in 1912, however, he was defeated as the Progressive Party candidate. The point is national healthcare has been proposed-tried, though, difficult, struggled and failed many times before and was finally successful in the capable hands of President Obama, now national healthcare is once again at the cross roads of being no more…is it too soon to say thank you President Trump?
