Please Sir, More Bucks…as in dollars…

Yesterday I checked a box in agreement that was critical of the high cost of maintaining competent administrators of some high-profile charities, then I did some research. How much is it worth to employ a person who can manage a multi-million-dollar organization, be on call in most cases 24/7, able to travel at a moment notice, and not be hired away by another organization, a for profit one at that. My research confirmed that like most things, you get what you pay for, the high cost of an affective manager(s) cost money, when it comes to a non-profit, a person(s) with the right skills even more, a lot of money can be wasted on the wrong person(s), if the right person(s) can be found with the desire to take on the mountainous task of administrating these good works, and if they should holler, do not at any cost, short of death, let them go… “Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Mo”? But not in this case, choose a better utterance… then move on with even more bucks… as in dollars…
