“Now is the time for all good”…et cetera…

Politico had a headline…” Republicans head to Camp David in search of agenda”

Hears one for their kind consideration…

I realize that the below has been used before in association with this American President, but I find it’s in urgent need again to be sent out to both Senate and House Republicans that this nation is in peril…

So, I turn to Wikipedia to restate the obvious in both historic and dramatic form…

“Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest?”  “is a cry attributed to Henry II of England, expressing his frustration regarding his conflicts with Thomas Becket, the Archbishop of Canterbury, in 1170. While this was not a direct order, upon hearing this comment from their sovereign, four knights—Reginald FitzUrse, Hugh de Morville, William de Tracy and Richard le Breton—traveled from Normandy to Canterbury and killed Becket”.

“This phrase is now used to express the idea that a ruler’s wish can be interpreted as a command by his or her subordinates”.

Not kill just let us say impeach, or to make one feel better, recall, as we the people can be heard, crying out for some sort of relief from the ills of this sovereign’s sovereignty…
